Our History
Hostal Mar del Plata is a family-run hostel located in the beautiful town of El Arenal, Majorca.
It has been lovingly run for 20 years by its owners, Fernanda and Martina.
We attach great importance to making you feel at home, to make you feel satisfied and safe so that you will always want to come back. We work all year round, offering multiple options so that this is your favourite place when you decide to come on holiday or for work to Mallorca, the most beautiful island in the Mediterranean Sea... at least for us.

Sustainability and care for the environment
We care for the planet for you and your descendants to enjoy, help us to keep it in good condition.
The operation of our AC and heating equipment works by time frequencies from 10h to 12h, 16h to 18h, 21h to 23h and from 03h to 06h approximately. Believe me that is enough.
Waste recycling
We recycle waste. We take measures to improve energy efficiency by making smart and sustainable use of air conditioning and heating. If you help us by keeping your window, balcony and bathroom door closed, the room will always stay cool and not freezing.
Cancellation Policy
All our bookings are non-refundable.
If you do not show up at check-in your booking will be a No Show and you will lose the entire booking without the right to any refund.
Rules of coexistence
For us, education comes first and that is why we do not allow your room to be turned into a discotheque and interrupt the rest of others.
At the reception desk you must always be dressed and on the balconies it is forbidden for you to be naked. Be fair when evaluating the services we give you, we all work an average of 16 hours a day and we make a huge effort to make you happy.
